11 Ways to Be Unstoppable Part 1

In honor of 1/11, I wanted to present 11 ways to become unstoppable. Are you ready?

  1. Believe that you can be.  Yup, cheesy and cliché and absolutely true.  As both a Licensed Therapist and a Mindset Coach, I believe with 100% certainty that there is a direct correlation between what you think you can accomplish and what you do.  So trade in “I can’t” for “I can”.

  1. The Big Three: If you follow me, you have heard this before, but I have adopted the Big Three as a fundamental part of my life.  What are they, you ask?  Patience, Flexibility, and Creativity.  Dreams do not always pan out the way we intended, but if we meet challenges with flexibility, patience and creativity, there will always be a way to reframe circumstances and reactive empowerment.

  1. Invest in yourself.  My mother has a panic attack every time I book a new coach, advisor or workshop, but am an absolute believer than you have to spend money to make money; and I think that goes for time as well.  Investing in workshops, books, classes, community, events, coaches, advisors, and everything in between will better position you to explore your dreams and tap into your higher purpose.  Learning is the best investment of time and money, IMHO.

  1. Find the people ahead of you.  Piggybacking on the above, let the people ahead of you lead the way.  I want to write a book, so I hired a coach who already is a best-selling author.  I want to launch a podcast, so I hired someone who already has a top 1% podcast.  I want to do speaking events.  Guess what?  I hired someone who does speaking events for a living.  Notice a trend? Now, if you are reading this and thinking “who the frick much money is that?”, I want you to refer to item #3.

  1. Stop making excuses. Excuses are usually a byproduct of our limiting thoughts, and if you have an anxious brain, I am sure that it can come up with many excuses of why what I am saying works for me, but won’t work for youAmong the usual offenders, I hear “I am too old”, “It is too late”, “I can’t afford it”.  Now, I need to be very clear here.  I am a self-made person that has had very little financial support fom anyone other than myself.  It would have been extremely easy for me to have let deprivation mindset rule my perspective and the fear of the financial impact win.  But instead, I place trust in myself that I will always figure it out one way or another and allow myself to take a leap of faith (without a guarantee that it will work) into the universe.  So far… it has worked.

  1. Take risks. Now I am NOT telling you to overspend, be irresponsible, drain your bank account or get yourself into trouble.  But I am telling you to take a risk.  I don’t know a single successful person who didn’t have their neck on the line at some point (or many points) on their journey.  So if taking a leap is uncomfortable for you, good.  It’s supposed to be.  I have a saying that is a bit obnoxious, “No one became successful by sitting around and waiting”.  Success takes action, and action takes risk.
